![]() My specs: old Haswell-E 6-core on an entry-level Asus X99-A board rev.1 (yet even those had a crap-ton of usb-ports available). I use "CMAA" or no AA, a mix of medium-high settings, no motion-blur and I can drive my display that way with 62.5fps 95%_minimum and freesync on varying framerate up to 100fps. Thing is: I drive my 3440x1440 monitor with 2560x1080 because of my cheap-ass rx580 that I had to fall back on when my 390 gave up the ghost. Keep the old one around as to not loose any settings. Maybe rename your "hardwaresettings"-file in your user-profile first the game will then generate a new one. Have you tried a lower graphics-preset like "medium" or "high" combined with a "display-setting" that uses no msaa or rather: no form of anti-aliasing what-so-ever ? ![]() no issues in DEVICE MANAGER or anything that could tell there's an error. The weird ♥♥♥♥ is that with the smaller GPU, no issues at all.Įverything is the same, just GPU changed, and drivers uninstall/re-install. but I figure that it will stutter even harder. The Game now reports that can go up to 3620*1527*159mhz. After many hours of testing different settings in the game nothing really seems to work.Ursprünglich geschrieben von Chereveco:The Stuttering with DiRT 2.0 just started to happen after I replaced the old GTX1660 for a brand new 3090, all drivers updated, how weird this can be? In game Graphics setting are the same as with the 1660, with a monitor running at 2560*1080*159mhz. Maybe they will charge us extra for the fix. Yeah it is broken and Chodemasters know it. I can say I have spent the last 2 weeks trying as many different isolation settings as possible but there is something strange with it. Then go back change settings again and back to baby butt smooth. I can have a smooth as babies butt experience on same track, then go in change some settings and walah stutter is there. Tried adding -vrmode oculus to steam target in dr2.0 steam properties which did prevent steam vr launching but still stuttering. It is a weird stuttering which occurs sometimes but not always in same spots. I am currently in the process of seeing what can be done here is Aus. What a joke, no ethics at all and I'm positive a breach of consumer law. Now they completely re word all their advertisements including the deluxe edition write up to try and cover their tracks. Yep when purchasing the 'original' DR2.0 'Deluxe' edition there was no mention of seasons 3+4 being paid extras. I am just giving you what works for me what works for some may not work for others. This should not make any difference but it does try it what have you to loose your here to try and make the game smoother Now something else I have discovered which makes a difference is the way that you start the game for some reason if I run the game from the steam shortcut it plays like crap,īut what I do is put my Headset on and in the steam home use the Rift s controller to start the game from your recently played That is all the settings that I did to run my game smoother than it ever has been I use a Fanatec 2.5 with a Fanatec Shifter Fanatec V3 Pedals and Fanatec Handbrake even with a Controller it still pays the same so the is no usb issues. Strangly in theory this setting should not work in VR but it seems to help a great deal especially when at the start looking around the frame juddering is almost gone and the graphics look a little betterīut poland dry gravel textures still look like Crap the wet stages look a lot better. The Power management mode to Prefer Maximum Performance so we get the Maximum Performance from our card and also changed the Vertical Sync to Adaptive (Half refresh Rates) exe all I have changed is the Antialising - FXAA to ON. Go to Nvidia control panel and manage 3D settings choose program settings and select Dirt Rally 2. Turning off shadows and other thing like god rays makes it worse so leave it at medeum I have tried this for 3 days running and it works much better than it ever has.įirstly set the graphics to medium in the game because Ultra looks crap for some reason in VR to much pixel Shimmering. ![]() The settings are not within the game it is in the Nvidia driver, so here is what I did to make the game run smoothly as I possibly can. I have a i9 with a RTX 2080TI and still struggle to play this in VR.But all is not lost I have found a stable setting that keeps me at a constant 80 to 90 FPS with little frame loss (except in the menu) in the Oculus rift s headset tested with FPS VR ![]() After many hours of testing different settings in the game nothing really seems to work. ![]()
